My Approach
I believe that our emotions act as messengers for our needs, which can motivate us to take action. Sometimes there are emotions that we have been suppressing, or there are emotions that feel too overwhelming to face. In our sessions together, we will explore these emotions together without judgment.
Deepening understanding of emotions helps them feel less overwhelming and offers insight into what our needs are. That insight then leads to change.
Therapy sometimes can feel like walking down a dark hallway lined with countless doors. Some doors are important to open and shine a light into, and some doors may want to stay closed. You get to decide which doors to open and which to leave untouched. Know that you aren't alone in this journey - we walk it together, exploring each step side by side.
