I’m Gabrielle Drong, Ph.D., a licensed clinical psychologist based in Charlottesville, Virginia. I earned my doctorate in Counseling Psychology from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, through an APA-accredited program with a focus on multicultural competence and adult mental health.
My clinical training spanned university counseling centers, disability services, and faculty and staff support, giving me a deep understanding of the pressures that come with high achievement, identity navigation, and life in transition.
I’m also an avid hiker and a proud cat parent, and my cats occasionally make surprise appearances during sessions! I believe therapy works best when it feels like a real human conversation, not a clinical transaction.
